    The health and social care sector looks after a range of people from the very young to the very old.

    This Level 1 Programme helps you to develop your awareness of the different type of provisions across the sector to help you to choose your path. You’ll study the principles of care, protecting and safeguarding, learn about equality and inclusion as well as studying human physiology and development.

    The main Programme is supported with additional maths, English and employability skills to further develop your own growth. Successful achievement will enable you to move onto the Level 2.

  4. Health and Social Care Level 3

    If you have experience in health and social care and want the opportunity to improve your skills in the caring professions, the level 3 Health and Social Care Study Programme allows you to gain hands-on experience and develop your understanding of the industry in a balanced mixture of practical and classroom work. You’ll study the care of children, infection prevention and control, anatomy, physiology and psychology. Wider support with employability skills are also embedded into your course in addition to UCAS applications and CVs. This Programme prepares you for a higher education curse in related fields of study with a foundation of knowledge and skills. You can also continue in your role in the care industry or apply for promotion.

    This is a one year course which consists of internal assessments and placement. The units you will study include human growth and development, equality and diversity and public health. Completion of this course with the relevant grades will allow progression onto level 3 or into the world of work.

The Level 3 Child Care and Education (EYE) Study Programme allows you to reach the highest level in practical early years skills, allowing you to work unsupervised in a range of settings both in the UK and overseas. You’ll learn how to develop and observe activities, learn about child health and development, and professional practice. The course is built to work around you as an individual learner, and in a range of placements to suit you. This qualification leads to careers in a wide range of settings, progression to HE entry to Norland College for Nannies or work as a ski/children’s rep abroad.
