Harrogate College is easily accessible using public transport.

Bike It, Walk it, Bus it, Train it!

Getting to and from Harrogate College is easy!

With a train stop just a minute away, its own transport network, access to public buses and facilities keeping your bike safe and dry, the following information will help you plan your journey.

For assistance with Transport costs, find out if you are eligible for Local Authority Financial Assistance from North Yorkshire County Council. Applications should be received by April 2017. Local Bus Operators also have their own means of reducing fares for young people, such as the BOB Card accepted on many Harrogate routes.

Harrogate College also has its very own Bursary which students can apply to. Typically, this will contribute towards eligible students’ transport costs to students who have first checked their eligibility for and applied for Local Authority Transport Assistance.

Young People aged between 11 and 18, may travel with BOB for the discounted rate until the day before their 19thbirthday.  Full time students aged 19 or over may also travel with BOB and get a discount, so long as they carry their college ID.

Young people with a BOB Card are entitled to reduced fares on most services, except those wholly within West Yorkshire. For these journeys you'll need a METRO pass.

In addition to an extensive public bus network, Harrogate College is also served by the Local Authority’s and its very own bus service.  Here are just a few examples of how you can get to us by bus.
