Three easy steps to join the 14+ Skills Academy

1. School Students    Parents/Carers of students enrolled at a school should talk to their School Head of Year or Alternative Curriculum Coordinator about their interest in the 14+ Skills Academy and register their interest with the 14+ Skills Academy Partnership Manager. This may be done by either by completing the online enquiry form, or contacting the Partnership Manager  via the contact details below

Home Schooled  Students    Home Educated Students and their Parents/Carers (EHE) may approach the 14+ Skills Academy directly, either by completing the online enquiry form or contacting the Partnership Manager  via the contact details below 

2. The Partnership Manager will respond straight away to make an appointment to discuss a 14+ Skills Academy Application and to complete some paperwork. This appointment will include a tour of the facilities, the chance to find out more about the programme and offer school staff, parents/carers and students the opportunity to ask for any further questions.

3. Receipt of a letter at the home address of the applicant will be copied to the school (if applicable) and will confirm the success of any application, details of expectations, a student handbook and clear instructions on what to expect on the first day. The Partnership Manager will keep in close contact and make sure that all new students are well looked after as they settle in and will continue to track their progress throughout their studies.
