Does your child prefer to learn in a practical environment where they can develop and learn whilst engrossed in an area of learning they feel confident to excel in?
College offers GCSE equivalent courses to students between the ages of 14 and

direct industry knowledge in state of the art classrooms and workshops. Students
quickly learn the skills that put them in the lead when it comes to applying
for a full-time course or apprenticeship in their chosen specialist area.
Students currently on role at a local school should discuss their interest in a 14+ Skills Academy course with their Head of Year in school and register their interest with the 14+ Skills Academy Manager via the on-line application form.
Home Educated Student may apply directly to college via the Partnership Manager who will apply for funding for the student directly from the Education Funding Authority (EFA) Evidence of Home Educated Status (EHE) must be secured before a place on a course may be secured.
